What South Coast Roleplay collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and how to ask us about your data.
Who we are
South Coast Roleplay ("SCRP", "we") is a FiveM roleplay community. This website handles Discord verification, staff applications, ban appeals, our community gallery, and the store. Departments named on this site are fictional roleplay groups and are not connected to any real agency.
What we collect
- Discord account data: when you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord ID, username, display name, and avatar, plus the list of Discord servers you are in. We use the server list only to run our community safety screening. We never see your Discord password, and with the sign-in permissions we request we do not receive your email address.
- Verification data: your verification status, roles in our Discord, and your roleplay character name if you set one.
- Application data: what you submit in staff or whitelist applications, such as your in-game name, age, timezone, and your answers, along with review decisions and notes.
- Ban appeals: the appeal text and contact details you provide, and the decision.
- Uploaded images: photos and videos that Management uploads to the gallery or homepage.
- Payments: store purchases and supporter subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details; we only receive order and subscription status linked to your Discord ID.
- Technical logs: like almost every website, our server keeps short-term request logs that include your IP address, for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- Verifying your account and keeping the community safe.
- Reviewing applications and appeals, and telling you the outcome.
- Running the gallery, homepage media, and store.
- Preventing abuse and enforcing our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking pixels.
Who we share it with
- Discord: sign-in, roles, and nickname updates run through Discord's API.
- Stripe: payment processing for the store and subscriptions.
- YouTube: only if the homepage background is set to a YouTube video and you accept media cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
How long we keep it
Verification, application, and appeal records are kept while you are part of the community and for as long as they are needed for moderation history. Request logs rotate on a short schedule. You can ask us to remove your data at any time.
Your data, your requests
To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion, open a ticket in our Discord server and address it to Management, or message a Community Director directly. We respond to every request.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date above and announce it in our Discord.
